I kept getting a not available message when I tried to access a Dylan video.

Most original Dylan songs are well protected and quickly removed off youtube, Google vidoe, etc. This one was a cover artist. The link doesn't work for you? It still works for me.

War is an abomination and even though we, as a species, like to think we are civilized our willingness to kill off the species shows how uncivilized we really are and will probably lead to our extinction.

It's called "Evolution". It's a law of nature. Get used to it.

I think you may be confused. War is nothing more than man's manifestation of his avarice, hatred, and his eternal lust for power. War is not natural. It is planned and carried out by man against man.

I think biological evolution has just about come to the end of things and that the next paradigm of the evolutionary process will be in the area of the expansion of consciousness along the lines of the new relationships being seen in quantum physics. It only makes sense that the furthest reaches of reality should be part of the evolutionary process. This guy has some interesting insights into that realm.

It's very natural. It's also very primitive and barbaric. As we evolve, we will evolve out of it....if we survive as as species. If not, NEXT!

My personal feeling is that this is an endless experiment. Next time it may be tried differently by some. In the end it is as meaningless as the migration of birds which is ultimately meaningful without regard for any purpose but that they migrate. Right now, this instance there are 20 mud-hens, possibly more, just doing their ever changing, never changing thing.

I need to buy some cracked corn to put out for them tomorrow.

That is an ethic derived from the changing values of nature.
