In Texas, we think it's best to Save a horse, Ride a cowboy.

Please don't let me be misunderstood, but I always like Famous Last Words.
Ya know, DW, I'm not a huge country fan...but there are some country songs that just plain get stuck in your head, ya can't help tapping your toe and humming along: here's another, a golden oldie.

Loved the Nina Simone version of Misunderstood! Had never heard the Chemical Romance tune before.

It's early, but its hump day...care for a hair of the dog what bit ya?

Thanks for the info on fileden. I'll check into that; could open a whole new venue for sharing tunes here! esp if I could find the box with all the discs I burned last year. I hate moving!

Thanks for the Santana and Garth Brooks tunes! Like you, I'm not much of a country fan, but there are some great songs in all genres. I like to buy the annual Grammy album since it includes the year's best music from all genres. Here's a winner: Not ready to make nice

Hot diggity dog! I love the 'net!

Had this album, then the 8track, never found it on cassette. They quit producing it for a long while. I had a local record store comb around for it...a few years later the store manager called and said it was being put out as a one time anniversary thing , did I still want it? I bought two. No matter how many times I tried, I couldn't get it past YT filters. And now I get to share it with you guys!

thanks DW, LD, for showing me this little gadget!

Yeah, I'm gonna like that! and thanks

I've got all kinds of stuff I was able to collect off Napster before they bit the dust. Unfortunately, I have them burned onto discs, which are in a box, which is some(*looks around*)where in that or that or that stack of boxes.

Methinks I just found a motivation for getting off the pc and going thru the boxes

I'm hungry, wanna join me in some Banana Pancakes? ...I got maple, blueberry, and pee-can syrups!

No problem! Here's another little program you might find interesting: A youtube video to mp3 file converter. Find a song on youtube that you like and convert it to an mp3 for your listening at leisure. I use it a lot. Free YouTube to MP3 Converter: download mp3 with this mp3 converter

Thanks for the Dave Mason classic. That came out the same year I graduated from high school. A couple years early this classic hard song came out by Deep Purple. I guess I'm just a Child in Time. It's over 10 minutes long and I use it jogging for both the length and the pace towards the end.

Dude! You just became my very bestest buddy ever!

How come my very hip and electronically indoctrinated kids never told me about this?!
    It's not like I haven't asked them all...10X.

Do you remember the Mason album?
The purple swirly one...like those things you used to do at the county fair.
They should have made the cd like that too.

I haven't listened to any Deep Purple in years - thanks!
