Proof of Military Service

It has come to the attention of the moderation staff that there is an ongoing issue, particularly in this sub-section, of asking for proof of someone's military service and/or implying or outright stating that a person is lying for not offering proof. This will no longer be tolerated under the following forum rules:

12. Do not harass another member. Repeated PMs after being asked to stop, finding another members phone number, email or mailing address and bothering them through those routes will not be tolerated. Absolutely do not try to hack another member.

13. Do not violate other members' privacy - this includes posting private messages on the public forum, pictures you were sent in private, or other information gathered in private (email addresses, phone numbers, etc.).

In a nutshell, it is considered public harrassment and an effort to violate other members' privacy. If a member does not wish to share the unit he/she was in or what branch of the military or other information pertraining to their service that is their right. The accusations of deception for failure to provide proof need to cease.
