Those are interesting bikes. I looked them up. Inky's is a little more of a pure dualsport but really it is more road than off road than most it would appear. The V-Strom hardly looks off road at all. I gather it has some increased ground clearance and somewhat extended suspension. They are both pretty cool and it shows it is hard to classify bikes sometimes.

One more homework assignment for you then, google up the Triumph Scrambler. Its in the classic family like my Bonneville but is a dualie (on/off road) also with a completely different look than the KLR or WeeStrom. (Suzuki makes a 1000 cc version of that Strom so the 650 gets called the wee Strom).

the Scrabbler is pretty cool! It is like a classic standard bike that is slightly modded. I like the raised up dual exhaust. Would that not potentially burn the crap out of your leg? I gather it is insulated.

I've always thought that myself but...apparently not.

I went to some dealerships today and looked and sat on some different 250s. Really pretty cool. I think I will wait till the dead of Winter and look on Craigslist for used bikes.

I think a bigger CC motor is safer, but that's just my opinion.
I bought a marine horn for my bike and put it on today, it practically screams "Get the Fuck outta my way".

Inky I am riding around on a 50cc right now. Your Grandma's moped is probably safer than that.
