That's good news. Maybe we can start regrowing those lilly pads that covered the Artic Ocean millions of years ago before global clmiate change killed it...well, actually, before it's rapid growth so depleted atmospheric CO2 that the climate crashed, causing an ice age, thereby killing the weeds...

...and it's a good thing that this warming trend happened before the Industrial Revolution or I'm sure I'd hear people demanding that some human agency get credit for causing this boon.

If you have any explanation as to how ice sheets and glaciers can melt without the water level going up, I'm all ears.
