if the big bang didnt happen, what did?
I have no Idea this author would appear to suggest an alternative and while I am in agreement with a few of his points I dont think his theory is any more accurate than the big bang.if the big bang didnt happen, what did?
are you familiar with string theory by chance? if so, what do you make of it?
Vaguely If I remember correctly that`s the theory which states that the universe is essentially strings of energy.are you familiar with string theory by chance?
It`s an interesting theory which merits more study especially in the realm of it`s interaction in quantum gravity.[/quote]if so, what do you make of it?
right on. i am with you on this. the past, present, and future are doors to be unlocked by the keys of science. yea, because the mechanics and physics of gravity and quantum mechanics break down at the moments just after the big bang, a new theory must be developed to include this spectrum of time for ultimate understanding of the universe
Exactly.a new theory must be developed to include this spectrum of time for ultimate understanding of the universe
Stars are pwetty.
Beyond that I have no real knowledge of astronomy. Interesting read, though.

I've always thought it was sort of presumptuous of people like Stephen Hawking to claim that we are on the verge of some grand unified theory which will bring all of our observations together and literally explain everything. We're talking about something that supposedly happened anywhere from 12-16 billion years ago...maybe longer. I don't see how people can argue over these hypotheses as if they are even remotely provable from where we are sitting, given the huge holes in our understanding of pretty much everything at this point. But academicans are well-known for getting into emotionally heated exchanges over their theories, aren't they? I'd say this dude would do well with a night out on the town, maybe a couple of drinks and a good blowjob. Just take a break and relax. It's called theoretical physics for a reason. The rest of his ilk should join him. Disagreeing over what your imaginary version of the beginning of time is (or lack thereof) ought not to be that big of a deal. Reminds me of guys arguing over old baseball players and yelling and screaming about it.
Put the calculator on the table and take a deep breath.
I love theoretical physics but these guys are often seriously skewed.
