Changed my mind.. I voted 'no'. I doubt Iran would launch a pre-emptive strike.. there is nothing to gain from it.

It's rhetoric. Any strike they could launch would only bring a response eclipsing it in every fashion.
Say what you need to say, but if it is "everyone who disagrees with me is x," then do us all a favor and shut the fuck up.

I'm a liberal. Guess what, we all are. It's not about liberal vs. not, it's about progressive vs. conservative.

If they attack first, they'll lose what little international sympathy they have left. It'll be the end of the Islamic Republic.

Not sure, but I would not be shocked if they did.

    Agreed.

They're kinda making a point, in a sideways Persian kinda way, that's all.

Would you be just as shocked if Israel launched a strike against them?

Actually, I would not be. These two countries hate each other.

Let 'em go at it. Burnout, so they can get it out of their system. We already know the big Sunni vs. Shia war is coming anyway, and the two belligerents there will be Iran and Saudi Arabia. Throw Israel in for a third dark horse that will be fighting their own war against Iran, and probably Syria.
