Some people want to believe that an Israeli attack upon Iran's nuke sites, will bring about a Third World War.

I think its a paranoid, silly, and baseless belief...meant merely to scare people..and themselves.

Sever the financial link, and this won't be a problem anymore.

We need to make political money illegal - entirely! The candidates will bitch and moan that they won't be able to "get their message out" anymore - but you know what, fuck 'em! It doesn't take 300 million dollars to get a message out. I can do it for a mere ten grand. Duh.

They get away with shit because they are our foothold in the Middle East and they know it.

Are you kidding? Iraq was over in five days. We shoulda left right when Bush said "mission accomplished".

Iran is approximately on the same level, maybe with a little more capability, but nothing to stand up against an array of cruise missiles.

All right, maybe ten days, if Russia and China don't get involved.

My guess is, the repercussion would be more economic and more longer-term. And terrorism, that too.
