    Health Care-A Public or Private Matter?

    Since we citizens pool our money together to collectively pay for any number of dangers we face. (ie foreign invasion, fire, crime, terrorists, etc) why do we leave the biggest danger we all face....Sickness....a "For Profit" threat we all have to financially face alone?

    Healthcare is not a human right.

    Charity is not the role of the government.

    Charity healthcare is not Constitutionally authorized at the federal level.

    The question is...why shouldn't it be? (how is it different than the right to be protected from criminals, fire, fgn invasion, etc...which we collectively pay for via our taxes?)

    Not so. You can pass legislation that federally defines the atmosphere as 100% turtles.
