Thread: How much do you pay in taxes?

I like to play with numbers sometimes. I figured that if I were getting paid hourly, I be working 17 hours per week for the government.

Kinda tricky to calculate. Did you want us to factor in sales tax as well? Or just the standard fed/state/local?

should have made the poll a percentage, not an actual amount. 27% of my paycheck does towards taxes. and that includes nyc taxes.

how do you know what your sales taxes equal? that works out to $27 a day. and lets say your sales tax is 5%, that means you spend $540 a day buying goods.
