Thatch will be dusted off and brought out to unveil a statue to her pal Ronnie outside the American Embassy on July 1st. She might even recognise him.
Back in the day, she retired to a gated community in London, and the tourist guides would point to the policemen stationed outside. She was held in such high regard by the British public, that the standing joke was that they were not there to protect her, but to stop her ever getting out again!
