Most of the Jon Stewart videos that I see are clips of episodes with no commercials. I hope that hasn't changed.

What is your problem? I grew up with commercials on TV. I do not have a problem with having to watch commercials as the price for watching something online. You're not much of a capitalist are you, VOR? What? Stewart should let you watch it for free online? I put up with commercials in games if I'm getting them for free. Sheesh! You'd think Stewart was being unreasonable.

I don't like Comedy when its used as a weapon. Jon Stewart has used his left wing agenda to promote division in America thru his supposed funny remarks. I love comedians like Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Bob Hope, Red Skelton, but Jon Stewart is more like a tool for the left that is not funny

I don't offend easily, but I am highly offended by the constant, unrelenting, oppressive jamming of commercials down my throat.

You can't live 3 seconds in a day without being badgered by a commercial. The internet is loaded with commercials. They pop-up everywhere. Click a link to read an article posted and a few seconds into it you're interrupted with a commercial jammed in your face.

Ads on newspapers, buses, at the ballpark, at the mall, at the grocery store while you're waiting in the checkout line (they have TV's to shove ads in your face), on grocery carts... I can go on and on.

On TV, radio (it's why I don't listen to Rush or Beck, you get I'm guessing 3 minutes of programming for every 10 minutes of broadcasting -the rest is commercials. Hell, even when Rush comes back, he reads off a few commercials before he starts - then he starts a conversation tailored to segue into yet another commercial).

IPods, cell phones, websites - all track your activity in big-brother fashion so they know what effective ads to shove in your face.

I'm in the market to buy a leather jacket, one of those heavy biker jackets so I google a site that sells them. I won't mention the site, fuck them, but suddenly every time I'm checking out my hotmail email account, I get ads for this site. Microsoft tracked my activity and is now targeting me with ads from that site. Because of that, this leather place will NEVER get a penny of my business. I'm considering shutting down my hotmail account also.

It's an assault on our dignity and I am HIGHLY offended by it. It's like I'm some fucking piece of meat or sheep among the flock that the ranchers can shoot at will to eat.

Frankly I'm surprised that more people don't share my sentiment, or are we collectively that passive that we don't care?
