I love watching righties get all bent about political correctness. It's really not hard, nor is an imposition IMO. It's just like NOT saying offensive shit to people. What's bad about that?
"Leave the matter of religion to the family altar, the church, and the private school, supported entirely by private contributions. Keep the church and state forever separate."........Ulysses S Grant.

"The Fox News channel is heavilly outnumbered by the forces of evil in the media".......Bill O'Reilly 1/13/11.

What's so bad about letting people be themselves and say what they want. That's where you'll find who they are. PC is BS.

I don't see it that way...Being PC never changed my approach, before calling the behavior PC we used to just call it polite.

Here is the difference to me. When someone says "you shouldn't say that" That's being polite. When someone says "you can't say that" That's PC. Make sense?

You can still say anything you want, you just have consequences to deal with. If wanting to say exactly what you want without regard for the feelings of those around you is worth the price of being chided and looked on with disfavor, you're free to do it.

I have this bad habit of speaking my mind when I'm with my conservative friend's conservative bible thumping family. And I pay the price every time.

I've seen some whining on another message forum about calling Tea Party members 'teabaggers'.

This is PC at it's finest - and there is a clear and defined line between PC and being non-offensive.
If anything I say offends you, it's because you're an idiot

I take it from stuff like. Mel Gibson. He spoke his mind about Jews. Do i agree with him no. Should he have to go to a rehab for it? no. Was he pressured to. Yes. I just think PC is about not hurting peoples feelings. It's BS in my POV.

Hollywood is bad example of humanity. I will admit that people are very PC hypersensitive in Hollywood and San Francisco. Out here there are more people that are PC than not. It's been that way ever since I can remember out here. I think if you are a polite person, you're not going to intentionally say something that may offend those around you.

I agree. I just hate when people try to tell me that i can't say something because i might hurt someone's feelings. Or the hypocrisy about it. Like you can't make a joke concerning Muslims but Christianity is ok to say something about. I mean make the jokes but don't condemn me for saying something when you are doing the same thing. I mean there are places you can't say stuff. like forums, or school, stuff like that. But you know it when you go there.
