    I wouldn't know, I'm not a Bahai. Unfortunantly I don't know any Bahais either... =/

Jesus mission was to save all mankind..the Jews first and then the gentiles! However.. the Jews rejected Jesus and did not recognize him as the true Messiah. "If you have seen me you have seen the father" thus..their rejection of Jesus was also a rejection of God. "No man comes to the father except by me". One cannot interpret this statement as excluding the Jews! Therefor...the Jews cannot be saved unless they recognize Jesus as the true Messiah. This is a well accepted truth in Christianity.However...with God all things are possible!!!

I just find it hard to believe that God would condemn those that were persecuted in his name for their entire existence, simply because they wouldn't follow the teachings of a flesh and blood man...

Re: My View on the Protestant/Catholic/Jewish divide.

Jesus came to save all mankind first the Jew and then the Gentile. They would not recognize him as the Son of God. "if you have seen me you have seen the father". When they rejected Jesus, they rejected God. They could not accept that Jesus came from a humble birth. "Can anything good come from Nazareth?" The Jews attributed Jesus miracles to "some other power" this is well known as the "unforgivable sin". Also...Jesus made enemies of the powers that be by pointing out their hypocrisy and sin. He was right to do this but their embarrassment and guilt made them reject him and his teachings. Thus..."only he can be forgiven that has something to be forgiven". The rejection of Jesus is serious as he is the son of the living God! Therefor..to reject Jesus is to reject God. They had every opportunity to accept him but if one cannot or will not recognize the Spirit in Jesus and attribute said spirit to some [other] power, how can they be saved? They have rejected not only Jesus but God as well.

Jesus role at the first coming was the role of Passover Lamb. The Jews by not seeing Jesus as the Passover Lamb, have changed their relationship, with
the Angel who is responsible for them the Passover Angel AKA Archangel Michael!

I just wanted to add..."With God All Things Are Possible" Salvation is not in our venue, only God can make that decision. We can ponder the meaning of scripture but we are just babes in the woods and our God is an awesome God! We can only seek to understand his will with an open mind and heart. We are all his children and some day everything will be revealed.
