    Another blow against religious freedom

Religious groups MUST offer free birth control to employees under Obamacare ruling | Mail Online

"Employers will be forced to offer free contraception in their healthcare plans, it was announced yesterday.

Religious organisations had been pushing for exemption from the ruling, but the Obama administration has said they will be allowed just a one-year delay in implementing the policy."

Land of the free? Not anymore. The national church of secular humanism has its own values and YOU MUST COMPLY. This is dogma based, sectarian, anti-freedom nonsense. This is clearly a violation of conscience.

Forcing an employer to provide coverages that violate that employer's consciences should only be allowed when the lack of such coverages violate the constitution. Are you claiming a constitutional right to free contraceptives or is this just some misguided attempt to inhibit the right wing birth rate?

Your attempt to legistate your brand of morality on other people under the guise of "freedom" is misguided. Your way is the way of sharia laws.

True freedom is to actually give the employees the freedom of choice so that they can then decide for themselves if they will use the contraceptives or not.

So why isn't the imposition of birth control on organizations who are against it an imposition of external values.

    Your illogic is showing.

ahso.. now that I've shown your brand of 'freedom' isnt actually freedom, you moved to your version of what is logical and what isnt.

    ps,
The use of birth control is not being imposed on those employees.. The decision is still theirs if they want to use it or not.
Why are you so against freedom of choice? Do you not think they will make the right decisions for themselves?

lol. So there's a religion for people who want to dictate what's covered on a healthcare policy? It's amazing where people can find offense.

Churches don't have to provide birth control to their members. If a church chooses to operate as a business though then I feel that yes they must operate on the same grounds as any other business. That seems fair.

Does this mean that a Cathloic University would have to offer/provide birth control to its employees?
