To those who do not believe in Jesus, if the Rapture happened today, would you believe that Jesus is your Saviour? Please don't twist the thread into something else; a yes or no answer (and explanation if you like) is fine.

2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth [will let], until he be taken out of the way. 2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 2Th 2:9 [Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
And why would God be sending delusions to make people believe a lie?
Explain this and I'll try to answer your question.
All of this is based on whether or not we believe in the rapture. Sorry but my answer is still no. I do not believe in the concept of heaven, hell, sin, satan, salvation, etc. Good and evil are both needed to preserve balance. One can not exist without the other. No one is inherently good or evil. And since Jesus is a Hebrew, once again I will not subscribe to an alien religion.
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
No, I really wouldn't. People disappearing is not evidence of Jesus' divinity. There are several other equally plausible explanations, including the involvement of other gods, alien technologies, etc.
Yes, the explanations sound far-fetched, but so does the prospect of two billion people vanishing into thin air.
But whether you believe or not right now doesn't matter if an event like the rapture happened. If all of the Christians disappeared all at once, how could you simply dismiss the possibility that the Christians were right and that there is a God? The point of this thread is to assume that it (Rapture) does happen. I mean, wouldn't that make you at least question your current beliefs?
It amazes me how non-believers can say that they would dismiss an event like this. What are the odds that the Bible says something will happen, something as amazing as millions of people disappearing all at once (all having a common belief in Jesus), doesn't have anything to do with God showing that the Bible is the Truth?
What would it take for you to believe? Every event in end times prophecy to come true?
