be that there is no god, or one that I would want to believe in. No where in the Torah, or the New Testament does it mention or uses the word Jew/Jewish in either of them.

You're wrong. The word Jew appears in the New Testament.
The term ‘Jew’ in the Bible
Why this fascination about Jews?
"You're wrong. The word Jew appears in the New Testament."
ok, I've not studied the New Testament that throughly as I am not a Christian, BUT, I know in the Torah it is not mentioned at all, not once. My interest in "Jews" stems from the fact that the "born agains" Christians follow, or are led by the nose by "the Jews". They believe that they are the "chosen ones" and nothing that they do in israel to the palestians is wrong in their gods eyes, they(most Christians) think along those lines and I think it's a very dangerous path to follow.....
WTF are you talking about? Jews are mentioned many times in the Torah. Search for yourself. BTW, "Chumash" is a synonym for "Torah."

Oh, for crying out loud... The etymology stems from Genesis 29:35, where it discusses the twelve sons of Leah and Jacob. The fourth child was named Judah, a Hebrew contraction meaning "praise God."
The term "Jew" didn't come into usage until later; when it was used by the Israelites (Hebrews) who wrote the Hebrew Bible. Biblically, the term is first used in the Book of Esther. Prior to this, they were referred to as Hebrews or Israelites.
"the Palestinian's being supressed", should say oppressed.
I was a Jew, and now I think all religions are Man Made. Let me ask you this, Why would your Hashem/god need to test anyone?, since it he,she knows the present past and future? To teach us? What? and Hashem told avraham to put his son on an alter and slaughter him to see if he loved his god? To me that shows he was on some kind of drug or just nuts. Adam and eve, what a story! incest with your brothers and sisters is ok, and that apple and snake what a crock of HS. No, I will believe in beings of a higher intelligence living in other worlds, before I swallow all that religion BS.
They're stories. Consider Aesop's fables for example. They aren't intended as treatises on animal behavior. Rabbits do not race tortoises. Foxes are not interested in grapes. But each story has a moral; a point to be made, and those morals are the crux of the message.
Same goes for the Bible. You may or may not agree with the underlying message, but it's silly to debate the fine details of the stories, because those fine details are actually rather silly.
