    Re: Quote of the Day

This exchange happened in my "Police Defensive Tactics" class yesterday.

    Instructor: Who's tried?

    Troop: (Silence)

Ins: Come on, be honest. You're wroking hard. Who's tired?

    Troop: (All raise hands sheepishly)

Ins: Good. You ready to give up?

    Troop: NO CORPORAL

    Ins: Ready to quit?

    Troop: NO CORPORAL

Ins: Ready to lay down and die because it's too hard?

    TROOP: NO CORPORAL

Ins: When you've got nothing left.... SHOW ME WHAT YOU'VE GOT!!!!

At that point we pretty much went insane. We were suited up in body suits practicing strikes and after that we started beating the living shit out of each other. I love that quote. I'll remember it all my life.

When you've got nothing left... show me what you've got.

Edit* Probably had to be there.

Ah, but with Capitalism you can get herring in any state. As opposed to lesser systems (all others ever invented) where occasional starvation is a major feature.

Why am I fighting to live, if I'm just living to fight
Why am I trying to see, when there aint nothing in sight
Why am I trying to give, when no one gives me a try
Why am I dying to live, if I'm just living to die?
