Fox: Left 'has always disliked the concept of Christianity'

Fox News is currently expressing indignation over a gay block party in San Francisco that is using a leather-bar parody of the Last Supper in its advertising.
Over the headings "War on Christians" and "Anti-Christian Crusade," Fox spoke to radio shock jock "Mancow" Muller about the ad. "What a disgrace," Mancow told Fox. "Can you imagine if, let's say, your local Baptist Church did something that parodied the gay community? It would be the end of the world."

The Raw Story | Fox: Left 'has always disliked the concept of Christianity'

At least Fox told some truth here. Christianity is just that. A concept.

Mancow is right in one sense - the liberals would go crazy if a religious organization did any kind of parody of homosexuals. However, with regard to it being an outrage... what the hell? Who cares what people do at their own parties and events?

All generalizations are false, inluding this one.

But politics and marketing and religion depend on such generalizations to power them.

Last month I went to one of the most stirring church services I have ever been to.

It was a funeral service for a gay man who had died of ALS (Lou Gerigh's disease) and his surviving partner of over 20 years.

The love of God was in the room and the love of many people of the same sex for one another. There were bible quotes and stories about skinny dipping with the guys and testimonials from family and friends about what a great guy the deceased was.

It was inspirational and totally against "type." Gotta love it........

The comment from Fox would not have fit ... at all.

I would say most of the left is anti religious.

In this country? Hardly. There are very few "anti religious" people - most irreligious people are just plain atheist, agnostic or deist.

I saw their insulting "parody" of the Last Supper; it truly has no purpose other than to express contempt for and provoke the ire of Christians. But of course, nothing will happen, since Christians are legitimate targets in this cesspool of a country. The homosexuals have been empowered in the past few years by the establishment elites who share their views...

Not at all. Pray to any God you like, just don't force me to be subjected to it in government venues.

And the Christians have so embraced the word of Jesus and followed his example and welcomed homosexuals into their folds so well.
