Thread: Thought i'd introduce myself:

I got this name, because I used to watch wrestling, and there was this guy called Brock Lesnar, who was 'the next big thing'. But that was taken, so I changed it to the thenextbesthing, only to be told that it was a madonna movie. So I changed it to thenextbesth1ng. Then my friend told me it should be thenextbesthang, and I agreed with him. And it's just been an ID people don'ot use, so I go about using this (easy to remember).

I'm 19, gonna be 20 in about 20 days, and go to the University of Rochester in Rochester NY. Love it here, although not as good as home.

I'm from Brooklyn NY, and am 100% Jewish and proud of it! Also, I listen to rap, and identify with it in many ways. I also breakdance. So I consider myself a hip-hop jew =).

Goals in life...?
I don't want to be stuck living a life that I hate, and I don't want to be lost in the shuffle of things. My goals in life are to be able to live happily, to be able to live with other people who treat me as a person, to do good where I can and not where I can't.
Eventually I would like to be a representative or something. I feel government is too....not American? They are of America, but its too...mechanical. All of our governments have lost their human touch. But that's not for another number of years, so yeah.

Major - its either political science or a major of my choice (my univ allows us to do that). If it was that major of my choice, I'd like to study how the different media's effect the different messages. That's kina interesting to me. Throw that together with a comp sci major, and boom; you have me as a student.
