Eli Manning inked a 97 million dollar deal with the NY Giants, proving that when it comes to driving up the cost of talent, NY can't be beat.

Eli Manning agreed to a six-year, $97 million contract extension, an average salary of roughly $15.3 million annually, a person close to the talks told The Associated Press.

Not too shabby for the 14th highest rated quarterback in the NFL.

He sucks, I can't believe they paid him that much.

Don't worry, it really isn't that much money when you remember that the federal government is confiscating the assets of its citizens and enslaving the workforce. There, doesn't that feel better?

He did win a superbowl but he did have big time help from both offensive and defensive lines. I am a patriot fan and who knows if Tom Brady will ever be like he was. Tom did win 3 and threw 50 TD's so he is up there with the greats but still, it could be over any game for any QB. The team should have paid 13 million per year for 3 or 4 years tops.

The only QB worth that much... is a younger, less injured Roethlisberger.
