Thread: High School Reunions

Has anyone been to their High School Reunion? 5 year, 10 year, 20 year, 25 year, 30 year?
I know there's alot of "kids" on this forum who are still in High School, unless you guys went to a 10 year reunion of your Kindergarten Class?

Anyway, I'm going to my first High School reunion in a couple of weeks. It will be my, um, *cough,cough*, my...oh God I can't believe I'm this frickin' old!!!!.....25th High School Reunion.

This might be a dead thread, but does anyone have any stories, whether funny, tragic, romantic, dramatic or sentimental about High School reunions they've been to?

My wife says we maybe should lie about our wealth and status, but I was not going to say much personal stuff to people, just things like, "Yea I work", "Yea I live in a house" and leave it at that. I've seen pictures from previous reunions from my High School class and of course there are guys who are bald and fat now and girls who have had face lifts and other nip-tuck procedures. So I'll do okay in the staying fit and young looking department.

I just hope it's fun eventhough I didn't have that great of time in High School. It was just another 4 years of school.........

Here's my story: everyone I went to school with sucked in 1991 and they still sucked in 2001 so I didn't go to my 10 year reunion.

I went to high school on Lawnguylind and those were THE most annoying people to be around for 3 years as a kid, I couldn't bear the thought of being around them again for 4 hours as an adult.

Best one night stand was made possible by my 5 year reunion. She bailed in the early morning to catch a flight home to Texas and I never saw her again, and to think I had to be talked in to going.

I think I would hire a limo, put on a Georgio Armani suit (rented of course) And tell outrageous lies. Why not have a little fun!?
Unfortunately, when my class was graduating and my friends went to Woodstock, I was in That V place. Went back to school on the GI bill. That's how you have the genius that is me today! Ta Dum!

I'm still in touch with two of my buds from high school though, after 38 years.

My high school has a website with a myspace type layout. I've gotten in touch with a few of the girls I hung out with on there. Myspace has a forum for my high school too and I chat with some people on there. Other than that, I haven't been back to the school or the town it's in since 1993.

I wore my Versace gown to my reunion.

So sexy.
