Thread: One Song You Like...

... from a group or artist you normally don't like...

For me it's Randy Newman.

I don't like much of anything he does; he doesn't excel at any one thing and is just mediocre at best as a piano player, singer and composer.

I wouldn't even want to own his greatest hits album.

But every dog has their day and there is one song of his I kind of like...



It's garbage, but it's fun garbage.

Not a bad production from someone who if he wasn't related to Alfred and Lionel Newman might be working the third shift at Norm's...

What are your best of the worst? Time to cut some of these poor slobs some slack.

Lol, eighties bands are great for this.

I never really liked Duran Duran, but here is a pretty catchy tune with a nice solid leading bass line...



Gee, just think of all those "one hit wonder" bands out there, lol.
