Thread: YOW!

A drunk ran over our mailbox just a little while ago...on his bicycle! Knocked himself out! He was visiting a neighbor and fell into a bottle over there, and ooops! Slammed right into it, and we'll have to put it back up. That had to hurt!
I went out there to see what the noise was and there he was, passed out on top of it and the box and post was on the ground. He came to just as the ambulance got here and refused transport, the cop couldn't get him for drunk driving because he wasn't operating a motor vehicle, so he was charged with drunk and disorderly and damage to property.
So. How was your Saturday night? LOL!

Not quite as lively as yours! I worked, and then a friend of mine and I went to the pub and discussed World of Warcraft. Asked me to join his guild. Whee!

interesting scenario. part of his punishment should be getting you a new mailbox and putting it up for you

my night- just got home around 10:30 or so i guess. have to work a 10am-7:15pm shift tomorrow. i dont mind the hours, but i have a crazy school final schedule coming up the next 2 weeks

I'm a few years older than most here. I remember after high school and college that what I was taught in government was rightous, good and moral. I guess years of seeing and finding out how and why governments do what they do, I've hardened my views and the lenses of my rose colored glasses have cracked. Just trying to make sense of why you younger people think like you do. ~Inky

ive lived a life of people 5-8 years older than me in my demographics my entire life. ive been working officially since 16 and am on my 2nd job, have dumped a lot of my earned income into the economy, and have reaped the rewards after filing my own taxes. i am learning a lot of lessons that arent necessarily "schooling" but it is more of an "education" i suppose
