Not my favorite, but one I recently tried for the first time that I found appealing: Honey Moon summer ale.
A wordy minute and a half review
I like it better than the beer advocate gives it credit for.

My newest "favorite" is the dunkleweizen they have at Trader Joe's!
It isn't Franziskaner, but still very, very good

You know what? I'm not ashamed to say:
Miller High Life (in bottles)
Budweiser (in bottles...and yes, Leo, I know it's not a "proper" Budweiser as those are only from fancy-pants Germany)
Pabst Blue Ribbon...and I never say "PBR." It's Pabst Blue Ribbon, dammit.
Davocrat®. The reason you're here.
My favorite American beer is Coors Light.
When I drink, I have high intentions of getting drunk. Coors Light tastes like water and you can drink a good ten of them before having to take a leak.
Plus, a lot of the microbrews try too hard. I don't want to try too hard when I drink. I don't want to discuss the taste of the beer. If I wanted that I'd drink wine.
If I'm drinking and wanting a good beer I will likely not be drinking an American beer, but if I don't get that I'll take whatever I am handed and generally like it well enough to ask for a second.

Miller always made a good beer, the old high life in the clear bottles was good. Never did like any of the ales, I think they are all bitter. I like a good lager, Becks or Heineken is what I usually buy.
