I did feel bad for you when you went out, but you really can't have it ALL, the Olympics AND the World Cup. I understand your team at the chapmionship was quite different from the team that played in Vancouver?

Did you actually watch the final match, or was that too hard to bear? It was a pretty exciting game, not only for us and Russians, I'd say.

Actually with NHL playoffs still on and the olympics just over there was very little awareness of the touney this year. People are hockey'd out. Even Montreal can't get their shit together to burn the city properly these days.

Come from behind win in game 7 of the second round and they barely torched a few cop cars and garbage cans. They're just not themselves.

Also this global wamring thing is really nice in this part of the world. Beach weekends in April/May... ridiculous.

Champions of the entire world is a huge accomplishment for the Czech Republic... maybe one day they'll be able to take the next step and become Champions of America.
