    Smoking....

Not any type of 'drugs' but cigs. I started off and on in late '07, got heavier steadily, until I cut back and kept nearly quitting since late '08. I took many a med. class, so I know its effects.

I can never bring myself to quit totally....don't think I ever will. Example, bout an hour ago. I was seriously pissed cuz my PS3 kept glitching, so I had a cig (only have 1 now when I'm really pissed, drunk, bored, etc) but aint even enjoy it that much.....then it further pissed me off that I relapsed and had one after bout 2.5 weeks clean. Now feel nasty.

Any yall go through this too?

Eh, I started off dipping, stopped that and started smoking about a month ago, decided to quit smoking, started back dipping AND smoking, now I just dip and smoke every once in awhile. What can I say, I hate quitters.

I wanted to quit for years, but I loved it too much. Righteous and rstrobel are mamby-pamby about it, btw. I smoked on average a pack and a 1/2 a day for about 36 years. If all I did was one cigarette every couple of weeks I'd still be doing it. LOL! Anywho, I couldn't justify the expense any more. And it is so incredibly unhealthy when you smoke like I did and I ain't no spring chicken no more. I used nicotine lozenges and sunflower seeds. I still use sunflower seeds. I stopped 8/23/2010. If I manage to make it into my 70s I think I'll start again because at that point I figure what the hell? Know what I mean?

Well I'm still blessed with youth lol. I never really smoked that much even though I'd go through a pack and a half to two packs a day. Most of the time my cigs get passed around like the collection plate at church.

My 17yr old is smoking, we catch him every now and then. Pisses me off.

Someone told me and I'm starting to believe him that he'd be better off smoking pot. That's not a conversation I'm having with him though.

Physically, hell ya he'd be better off. Professionally, not so much, unfortunately. I'd love to blaze up every now and again.
