Thread: all seniors should contact fox news

ATTENTION all you seniors out there , has any one noticed how all the commentators, and host of fox news are desperately trying to push congress into cutting social security? every program has one of their jerks pushing and ranting and raving about how its congress and the senates duty to cut social security. hannity, cavulto, smith, everyone else on there. why are they so desperate to hurt our senior citizens? you dont hear them calling for the politicians to cut their own wages and budgets, the fox news network is out to hurt senior citizens. they all have their millions, just like congressmen and senators, yet they are actually drooling over the idea of cutting social security. my floks are old and have paid into the ss for 50 years before retiring. social security is not an entitlement ,its insurance old people have paid into all their lives and now fox wants to cut it.
I think every senior needs to contact fox news and demand they stop attacking seniors by demanding social security be cut. I was aloyal fox news watcher but I have gotten fed up with all their calls for cutting social security.and dont watch any more, but if we all stick together and contact fox and let them know they should butt out and stop pushing to hurt old people we will all boycott their sponsers and their programs .

Because it's necessary. Defense, Social Security, and Medicare, collectively comprise over 60% of the federal budget. Any effort to reduce the budget that treats all three of these like sacred cows is nothing more than a token gesture. I don't like the idea of sticking to the elderly, and I don't like the fact that I'm paying into a system from which I'll (statistically) never recoup my expenses. But times are tough for almost everyone. Middle class, lower class, the elderly, and those in military service.

Personally, I'd be thrilled to see the Department of Defense learning to do more with less - and figuring out ways to do it that don't impact the salaries of the rank-and-file.

gabe you look like your are either a senior citizen now or are very close, say what you want ,Im fed up with the media and the government throwing our older Americans under the bus. if they want to save money the first thing the want to cut is for the seniors and retired veterans. lets see some cuts for congress and senate members salaries benefits ,and staff, before you start hurting the senior citizens. my mother is 69 and if we didnt help her she wouldnt be able to afford food,her utilites take half of her income, meds and doctors get the other half. Old people have worked hard and have paid into social security in good faith, and now a few elite like fox news and the rich politicans want to take what little they have . Im just asking people to stand up for the elderly and vets of this country, if that bothers you too bad, Im going to post everywhere i can , maybe it will help, maybe not but at least Im trying

gabe from your picture it looks like you are either already a senior or pretty close to it. the cuts they are calling for could hurt you too. you never know what will happen that could cost you all your savings retirement .ect.Im simply fed up with the fact that everytime the politicians want to make cuts the first thing they start cutting is the senior citizens livihoods or benefits,why not cut politicians pay,benefits and staff first.why not cut foreign aide ,why must they always throw the elderly under the bus? my most is old she worked from ther time she was 14 to 66 she paid into ss in good faith.now the politicians and fox news want to take what little she has left.if we didnt help her she couldnt afford to eat, and there are alot of seniors out there in the same boat.Im simply asking Americans to stand up for our elderly and the vets of America.if that bothers you too bad , Im still going to post any place I can, maybe it will help maybe not, but at least Im trying.
