Thread: Whats in a name?

I'm a bit curious about some of the screen names folks use, some I get some I don't......

Examples:
My screen name is Engine-Ear, I'm a mechanical engineer and I build hot rods as a hobby, hence the engine part, kind of a clever play on words

Inkslinger - A screener of silk
Davocrat - A witty democrat named Dave
Oberdan - I'm guessing a reference to 'The Chronicles of Amber' (sorry if I'm off-base)
Gypsy - A real-life gypsy
Pragmatist - A Blow boater
Goldwater - Goldwater
Etc.

You get the idea, so if you want to, explain the origin of your handle, thanks

They don't make em like that anymore. Goldwater never told people what he thought they wanted to hear.

Plus he said the word "ass" in congress one time.

I thought Goldwater meant Oldy-Time Racoon Fighter (with a mop no less) But I will admit, any man that uses the word ASS in congress gets my vote. My kids actually think I'm cool because I can weave it into every sentence I say.
Ass may be the perfect word.

Six) Basically because I'm bad ass and it's my favorite number. I've been accused of acting like a Six year old from time to time too.
