I just drove 130 miles round trip for the sole purpose of going to a cool old style meat shop in a little mountain town. Fresh made pepperoni - two bucks a yard. Fresh thick cut beef jerky... best stuff ever. Mmmmmmm...

Well... it was also a road trip with the kids. We pulled off the road and ate our sandwiches while watching about 20 head of buffalo on a ranch along the way. They climbed up and into some old rail cars at a state historic site. Drove through a couple small little towns that don't even appear on most maps. Fun day. Originally Posted by jackalope
