    Polar bears

Why do we have to like them...or feel sorry for them? They don't like us.

Yep, it's amazing what a little editing and CG can do to a gullible person.

People do not want to know that a polar bear will swim up to a hundred miles a day, and they will kick back on a chunk of ice and sunbathe.

    Oh, and eat their lunch............

    I agree with Inkslinger.

The point isn't that polar bears are cute. It's THEY'RE PART OF THE ECOSYSTEM. GOT IT? IF AN ANIMAL GOES EXTINCT SOMETHING IS USUALLY OUT OF BALANCE.

Jeeze. I guess education really is failing the nation.

    Do you like seafood?

Oh, never mind. You're obviously pretty ignorant on the most basic concepts of the food chain and the fact that humans are part of it. Not to mention the symptomatic implications to the environment of a major species dying out.

Your point is moot, polar bears are in record high numbers. Hell if things get much cooler, they will have to walk across more ice to go fishing, or seal hunting.
