What's the dirt doing in all the snow I see in these events, haven't you Canadiens got white snow?

    [/quote]

Canadian snow, like their beer, is simply more potent than what we are used to in the states. That brown stuff isn't dirt, its fermented grain.

4:30 PST - 7:30 for you East Coasters, 8:00 Newfoundland.

But we're both 2 and 0, and we're both moving on to the next round... this is just a 'friendly'

It just happens to be a 'friendly' in which I sincerely hope Patrcik Kane develops some sort of horrific untreatable illness and has to be quarantined on a remote island for life.... that's all.

Just remember we have sniper teams in that buidling...

*Later Edit* Who am I kidding, you probabaly have more undeclared security assets in there than we have official ones.

DrK, If I didn't feel you were one heck of a guy with a great sense of humor I wouldn't kid about this stuff. You make it fun!

Thanks Gyps... this place keeps me sane. One of the few things I like about my job is the licence to have dark 'cop humour'. The nihlistic acceptance that everything is toally fucked, nothing anyone does will fix it, but that once you learn that and accept it, everything becomes so much more fun.

    Meow.

Hey BTW - did this not make big news down there in the States? Joe Biden's creepy visitor? I expected a bigger deal to be made of this. I guess nobody cares about the VP.

The man, apparently infatuated with the vice-president, was stopped 12 rows from Biden's seat

    From the article:

It's unclear exactly how the man got past at least three checkpoints to reach the VIP section. and whether he got in using a fake ticket and then snagged a legitimate ID or used fake credentials after getting in with a valid ticket.

Are you all trained by the US secret service attached to the White House? lol

Seriously, I was watching the Olympics yesterday and one of the chicks was reporting on the RCMP training program. Six months? Wow. It was pretty impressive. Stetson off to you DrK!
