Who will be the 2008 World Series Champs?

The Dodgers would be a great story, and I would love to rub it in the face of the Yankees, but until someone knocks off the Red Sox, they are the champs, just like I predicted earlier. I mean they hardly slowed down when they lost Manny, and the injuries they had. I think they will be tough to beat.

If the Sox have a healthy JD Drew and the pitching staff continues in to post season the way the finished off the last few games then it's got to be the Red Sox.

I'm 100% positive the WS champs will come out of the AL, as much as I hate to say it the Rays look real good. But, Sox/Angels series will most likely produce the winner. Angels are the most talented team, their pitching staff reduces the game to 7 innings, that's hard to tame.

I agree, the Angels will be tough, but don't you think k-rod must be getting tired?

They've seemed to have slowed him a bit since clinching, since sept 9th he's pitched 9 innings, ERA still 2.27. If he's wearing it doesn't show.

Eight saves over those 9 btw, damn.

Thank god Lester didn't throw a no-hitter last night, we don't need that, what we do need is Detroit to pull it together tonight. Go Tigers.

Hands down sorta suggests you've got the best team going away, that's just not so. I think the Angels are the best team, but it's close enough with at least 3 others that there really are 4, maybe 5 teams that could win the WS without surprizing anyone. The Angels have a very tough road just to see the WS.

I can't believe two whole people voted for the Brewers.
