    What book you reading?

I switch back and forth, but my current choices are:

    a biography on Alexander Hamilton

A Legacy of Ashes: A History of the CIA

    Foundation by Isaac Asimov

One Minute to Midnight: An Insider's Account of The Cuban Missle Crisis

Don't tell me you guys are lazy bums. Books are excercise for the mind.

I just finished my yearly reading of Lord of the Rings, and now I'm reading The Tyrannicide Brief by Geoffrey Robertson, which is about the execution of Charles I of England.

Trying to finish this one...very interesting book for the psychology behind the doctors killing/healing paradox.

    About 3/4 done. Shocking.

Finished this one a few weeks ago...tremendous book giving insight on what it's like to live in a truly tyrannical country.

Shame we never caught Mengele. Slippery fish, that one.

How's the third one? Is it a true story?

Yes. The author became a historian later in life...but at the time of the Nazi Tyranny he was a young man. He wrote his reflections once he got to England. His son discovered the writings after he passed and had them published. They are written from the perspective of everyday life and the slow loss of rights under the Nazi's and the change that effected society.

    I highly recommend it.

I was in the mood for something light and fun, so I'm re-reading "Good Omens" by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.
