I highly recommend watching this movie. It is based on a lot of old music, primarily The Beatles. It is a musical but not one likely you've ever seen.

6 stars out of 5 and I'm not really a big production movie fan.

that movie made me feel as though i was high without smoking

I'll get it for The Beatles and the fact that the previews look great on the plasma screen.......plus I can feel high without getting high. That has great attraction to me.

It's not primarily the Beatles - every song is a beatles song. I just saw it the plane the other day, it's okay - though I only really liked the way they did a few songs (let it be, oh darling and come together were all great). Bono massacred I am the Walrus.

Yes the music is set on Beatles (repeat) but the characters are based on Hendrix, Joplin, McCartney, and others as if these characters were the real-life representations of those icons, but in a common person view.

And as far as how they did the songs, Strawberry Fields got me, hands down the best IMO.

Yep, he hit the nail on the head. I got high just watching it, and I was getting high too.
