They've been talking about this on TV. One doctor said no way would she write a bogus excuse. Good for that doctor.

They say it's for entertainment purposes only. I can see some doofy kid using it though. The doctor's names on these things are probably something stupid like Marcus Welby MD, practicing at General Hospital...

Damn, why can't I think of any other TV doctors? I need to watch TV more...

That's what I used to do too, until I got caught claiming my grandmother had died for the third time.

By the time I was a Senior, I didn't make any kind of excuse. I just cut class or skipped out for the whole day and dared them to expell me. I knew they wouldn't because they didn't want me back for another year!
