Thread: So, It Turns Out That Kidney Stones Really Do Suck As Much As They Say.

Spent most of the night at the hospital in CAT scan machines and shit to find out that I have stones. They have taken me pretty well out of commission for the time being.

If anyone has any good info on the situation to share, I'm listening.

These too shall pass....like a tree trunk through the eye of a needle. The docs should have given you some meds to break them up or if they're abnormally large, laser surgery might help. Can't sugar coat it...they hurt!

Good news, DA, is beer is actually recommended (ask your doctor, first). My little brother (39) has been peeing through a strainer for the last couple weeks. His are breaking up and coming out very small.

Childbirth was a breeze compared to the kidney stone I passed.

I've done both and I'd take childbirth over a passing stone anyday.

My son had them twice. The doctor told him to stop drinking soda and drink more water. Since doing that he hasn't had any...

Another friend of mine said it was like pissing a bowling ball....ouch!
