    Re: Beisbol anyone?

I love Baseball and have since I was a kid. I suffered through the Cleveland Indians for years. Collected some cards...all I have left is the "85" tops set with McGuire's, Puckett's, and Roger Clemens rookie cards. I used to play the Strat-O-Matic baseball game but now play fantasy baseball on line.

Saw Slammin Sammy at Wrigley a few years back, catch Braves games, and go to Braves spring training at Disney every year.

Dream vacation, Yankee stadium, Camden Yards, Fenway, and Cooperstown!

No Wrigley wing of that trip? The friendly confines are a unique experience. Go to a day game though for the true authentic feel.

No, to be honest I never noticed it. I was too busy taking in the park. My Son and I walked around the outside of the park to check it out. We had a two hour drive back to western Illinois so we bolted after the game.

Pretty cool how the park is just smack dab in the middle of what is basically a residential area. That area is now pretty affluent. When I was kid and we would drive into the city from the small town I was from, the area was pretty dicey. Usually a lot of bums and winos hanging out there. But one suffers through such things to see ones boyhood hero....Ernie Banks.
