    online terrorists

Do you think that there are many representatives of Al Queida to go to forums such as PH here? I think it is entirely possible that terrorists and other whole nations would want to try to affect US policies. This could be done in a grass roots fashion. Are they doing it here?

    Re: online terrorists

    I guess it's possible

Side topic: if anyone here would be a terrorist, who would it be?

I'd say Robodoon for his efforts to get people against the leaders of the free world. hehe

I'd be stunned of they weren't "monitored", not in a formal sense but surfed by sympathizers. But to actually engage in debate is not really the AQ way. nonetheless, I'm sure some feel tempted to debate and perhaps forums like this give them an outlet for expression which takes some of the heat off their convictions... Personally I've seen nothing here that looks like Islamic Fundamentalist arguments....

I have seen some explosive conversations that seem to come from an extreme islamic vantage point. Remember that AQ had the 911 terrorists here. They were integrated in society. They spkoe American type english well enough. clearly spouting off Islamic fundamentalist jargon would not influence people. Talking about time lines and such as even al Sadar is doing would.

No. I think it is entirely possible to help shape the popular opinion of America by affecting forums such as this.

So, you subscribe to the George W. Bush school of thought that if you call for the troops to come home from Iraq than you are aiding and abetting the terrorists?

So, some al-Qaida member or supporter coming to this forum would take some opinions away from here that since some people don't support Bush, PNAC, and the invasion of Iraq, that they support al-Qaida? That, then, al-Qaida will have cheerleaders in the United States that will welcome al-Qaida with open arms?!
