That was a dreadful non-performance by Manchester United, granted that AC Milan were able to rest six of their players pre-match though.
I think that the terrible weather during the first half did affect the Man UTD performance, the second Milan goal appeared to have been created when, I think, Wes Brown attempted to clear the ball from by the goalmouth and he slipped and that led to Milan's second goal.
Dunno, Manchester is obviously known for it's rain, but the conditions in Milan last night looked like an Asian monsoon, with thunder and lightning included.
Can only recall that Man UTD really only had three shots at goal the entire game....why Alec Ferguson didn't take Fletcher off and bring Alan Smith on instead I don't know.
All in all, the ENTIRE team had an off-day, had they had played like they played last night throughout the Premiership this season, I dare say, they wouldn't be top of the table, they'd be drifting toward 15th or 16th place.
In Athens for the final, I'd have to give the advantage to AC Milan.
Regarding Chelsea, nah I'm sticking by my comments....Drogba missed a sitter, he had a surprisingly bad game, considering in League games, he's one of Chelsea's most consistent goal scorers.
I agree about Ashley Cole, he was below par for Arsenal and has continued that with Chelsea....I don't really consider Cole a serious player actually.
I suspect that you're a Chelsea fan?
Morinho probably might go to an Italian team....Abrahmovich ONLY seems to care about winning Silverware, I mean, Chelsea are in second place in the Premiership and they've not had a bad season....kind of sad when the owner of the team only seems to care about winning a trophy.
