Jesus, I want some fish now >.<
I wrestled with a 195 lb full of carp ex boyfriend once.
Never been much of a carp fisherman Namvet, but I do love fishing. For years it was the small inland lakes in Michigna, bass, bluegill, perch that sort of thing, but for about the last five years, my pursuit has been of king salmon. I have never caught any extremely large fish and there are many many stories that other true outdoorsman would enjoy. I have learned that fishing, as well as hunting is more about the pursuit and the sharing with others, especially children more than about the fish or game taken. Althoug I sure would love a 40 pounder on my wall!!
Funny you should mention that. Two years ago, during our last week of fishing, which is just after Labor Day weekend, there was four of us for the week. We usually leave the dock about 4:30 in the morning and get back about noon or sooner if we are fortunate enough to limit out. Well, me and another guy don't drink coffee, so.....you guessed it, we were creacking the beers at 4:30 in the morning. We wanted to test the theory that you can't get too drunk to fish. And although we could still fish after a case of beer there was another time in Canada when I proved the theory false!!
What do you do with the fish you catch? Do you eat it?
