GO RON PAUL!
Ron Paul Still # 1 in the MSNBC Pool taken after the debate
Check this out.
He promised to get rid of IRS. To rid the public of the income tax, to eliminate the National ID card and more.

"...we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure -- one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."

Re: Rate the Runners for the Republicans
Ron Paul, but I already knew it. I guess he's not pretty or forcefull enough to get elected president, that seems to be the buzz around the board at least. We'd prefer some schlep posing as a conservative who stands a little straighter, is a bit more baratone, and would be more likely to sell out just a few of our ideals to get things done.

Re: Rate the Runners for the Republicans
Ron Paul never changes, he sticks to the same message, he's true to his beliefs/views. Unfortunately, that's why he won't be elected POTUS, he will not get the nomination.
My second choice wasn't there, Fred Thompson.

Re: Rate the Runners for the Republicans
MSNBC is not a scientific poll that reflects any actual demographics. It is completly meaningless.

Re: Rate the Runners for the Republicans
The next election will be the first in which I will be able to vote, so I'm really looking into who would best to represent me as a citizen in the white house. I want someone whose not gonna take anything "under the table", or worry about PR and if he looks good on camera. I'm tired of the "clean suit, nice smile, and thumbs up" politicians. As it is, I'm leaning towards Rudolph Guiliani. Even if he doesn't receive the formality of being nominated by the Republican party, he should steal run as an independent. His quick responses and overall action during the 9/11 tragedy as well as his previous work that reduced crime ten-fold in New York City are all good reasons I'd give to cast my vote.

Giuliani is a great candidate. The problem is that he is running as a moderate during a conservative primary. In last nights debate, he hushed the other candidates by saying that "neither party has a monopoly on virtue". This is not how you win a primary. You have to go to the right. Win the primary and move back to the center. Both parties do this.

Interesting. Why would you put Giuliani and Romney over Paul?

Ignore lists are for those that are wrong, know they are wrong, and prefer to keep being wrong without the nuisance of being told they are wrong.
