The woman also told the agent that Adolf, 33, believed that the prospective Democratic presidential nominee had a suite on the third floor of the same Hyatt hotel in which they had rented their room. Johnson, 32, who began to cry during his questioning by the Secret Service admitted that Adolf had previously threatened to kill the Illinois senator and that the group's desire to assassinate him was not political, but "because Obama is black." While none of the men have been charged with making threats against Obama, the trio came to the attention of the authorities after Aurora police stopped Gartrell, 28, for suspected drunk driving. A search of the vehicle turned up rifles (one with a scope), ammunition, a bulletproof vest, walkie-talkies, and drugs.

The most amazing fact in this story is the age of those involved. Early 30's and such strong racist views, it's just...weird.

Not really. Ignorance is still the biggest sponsor of terrorism in the US. Has been for decades.

Looking at their mug shots, I do not think Obama was in much danger, those guys don't look smart enough to know which end of the gun the round comes out of, much less how to load it.

Dude, it's like, 2008 and whatnot. The person who delivered my son was a black woman. You see black cops all the time, black guys show up to give you all the good channels for your TV.

Used to be that you could at least understand where the ignorance came from, white kids and black kids didn't go to the same schools, they didn't socialize. There weren't black families in white neighborhoods. So yeah, you can at least see where the ignorance comes from. But not today, at least I can't see it. And I really don't see how you're not surprized, what sort of pesimist do you have to be to expect people to feel this way? This stuff catches me by surprize every time.

Sporto makes a good point, but there are parts of the country that are still very segragated, maybe that is where they are breedin' the ignorant types.

That's true, I'm thinking about petitioning to allow black people in Manhattan, what are you going to do to make the world a better place?

No Charges Over 'Obama Death Plot'

The men were arrested in Denver, Colorado, in connection with drugs and weapons offences.
Sky News political editor Adam Boulton, in Denver, said one of the group is reported to have made comments alerting police to a potential assassination plot against the leader of the Democrats.
But speaking at a press conference, police said the men were drug addicts.
They said they were keeping an open mind about the investigation.
US Attorney Troy Eid said: "There is insufficient evidence that there was any kind of a plot or a threat but we'll keep an open mind as we look.

You guys are funny. This was a lot of hype over nothing... typical of anything Obama.

SOme druggies got together and did what druggies do. They got busted, one's trying to get some special treatment by offering "information". They were talking about killing Obama, lol. What's new... there's probably people talking about that who are not high.

Hell it was a couple of weeks ago some of you same idio... nice people where complaining because someone was arrested for making threats towards the REAL President... some of you actually said it should happen... now go away find some other conspiracy to cry about.
