Helena is right. If your point were correct, why have there been no black presidents.<--God, I can't believe I had to actually explain this to anyone.

As far as I know there has only been two black candidates that has ever tried. Alan Keys, and everyone knows that black Republicans aren't really black... right? And Jessie Jackson... maybe three has Al Sharpton run? Do I need to explain it further?
Biden said it best talking about Obama, “the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy”
This is what got Obama on the fast track.
Mainly he's black... not only black but he's articulate... something Biden hasn't seen before in a black man apprently... nice looking too and clean... man Obama is clean. Obama has everything a good token negro needs to get in the front of the line with dems.
Can you explain the 30-40 other white dems that had about, if not better education then Obama, and a hell of a lot more experience in everything then Obama but didn't get the fast track? There are a lot of politicans in Washington, in the democrat party that would have been a better candidate... but they are not black. Obama is the dems magic bean.
