It's surprising how so many words can add absolutely nothing to the conversation.
That pretty much wraps up this thread.

Especially when so many of them are of them are ones you can't read, no?
Have you tried getting your teacher to help you with the longer ones?

Ah, another newbie with Inky envy.
What is it with you intellect wanna-bees?
Is it that I get a oint across in a few words, when you can't make a point at all with an entire novel?

Re: This just about sums it up for me.
I have thought about this some more and came up with another saying which parallels Ghandi’s quote:
I like it when people act like decent human beings, I do not like it when people are being human. Being human is so unlike being decent.
I would suggest that the majority of people are decent human beings, when you take into account that we all have the same behaviors associated with being human. I think it comes down to one’s consistency towards one behavior or another.

I completely disagree. Clearly Gandhi could see the sheer and utter hypocrisy displayed between Christians claimed beliefs and their words and deeds.

Ignore lists are for those that are wrong, know they are wrong, and prefer to keep being wrong without the nuisance of being told they are wrong.

Yes, and I do understand his point which I agree with. The point I was making is that it goes beyond hypocrisy of Christians, and it is at a more basic level for all humans. Being hypocritical is part of being human, is it not? I think there are hypocrites in every religion, and there are also hypocrites not part of a religion that will subscribe to one thing and do another.
