This has nothing to do with drunk driving, it is about control and serfdom.

They aren't, they may be checked by the police if they are engaged in a regulated activity on a public street where the police are charged with keeping drunk drivers off of.

So if we take your position why not just get rid of DUI laws, if they kill someone we can just charge them with the higher offense of murder, or if they just harm someone charge them with assault.

No they aren't, go read the court decissions. If you operate you car on your own property then fine. But once you go out on a public street you must be licensed by the state and they can regulate your activity.

No more extreme than you, you want no government control so what about traffic laws that control what speed I can drive at?

And if you don't like roadblocks then go to your city council and demand the pass a law with prevents the local police force which works for you from doing them.

no, its actually about your self esteem issues and your chicken little mentality where you latch onto every hair brained idea that pops up in some research center and use it to feel like someone is trying to "control you" when in actuality nothing like this ever comes to fruition and even if it does it has zero affect on your life if you ever even hear about it at all.
