Wow, the Tigers sure have been playing good ball lately. If you just watched the last couple of games and didn't know their record, you would be convinced they were one of the best teams in the league!

Angels. Did I mention the Angels? Oh, and the Angels. All the way this year. Redemption from last year.

What is the deal Sparta, who the hell are these "Devil Rays" anyway?
You don't seem to be as fired up as last year, you're not worried are ya? I suppose you are gonna watch the game tonight, huh?

Re: 2008 champs Boston Red Sox
It's tough to get as fired up when you're not feeling good about your chances. We've got a shit ton of injuries and a WS win would really be amazing considering the guys we're starting. Our Ace is pitching hurt, our first basemen is playing 3rd, haven't seen our short stop since I don't remember when, our right fielder who carried us for two months is getting shots in his spine so he can bear the pain of standing up, our biggest bat is playing with a wrist injury.
The difference was last year we put the best team on the field every game, this year we've got the best team sitting on the bench. Kinda hurts to watch.

I turned it on last night and saw the last couple innings. Did not look good. I earlier had heard Boston was putting up their best pitcher last night and they really needed to count on a win. He must have been relieved prior to my turning it on. Seems Tampa has some hitters that have no problem with that green monster.
You know my cat Boston is not real happy with how you guys are playing.

Re: 2008 champs Boston Red Sox
Last night was an ass thumping, no two ways about it. Lester just wasn't locating his pitches. The bats better wake up tonight, Tim Wakefield is on the mound and he's solid, but he gets the worst run support of any pitcher for the Sox. Can't explain it, most people probably don't know which pitcher gets the worst run support, it's usually a garbage stat, but any Sox fan will tell you that Wake gets no love from the bats.
