Sure you can, it does need to be monitored and as much as I disdain the UN I would call for the IAEA to monitor and inspect. I would also like to see a way to deal with the spent rods so they do not end up in some type of DU round.

There is also the issue of whether or not Iran should continue to provide arms and training to anti-American terrorist groups in Iraq. I'd have to answer no to that one too.
We should have expected this when we backed Maliki, and shut the Sunnis out. That said, I am against the mess in Iraq, if we were not there Iran would not be a prob for us.

We dug ourselves in a pretty deep hole in the ME, I believe that we had better start back peddling quick, else it will cost more than you or I can ever imagine.

So Achmadenijad has more credibility that President Bush and it's reasonable to argue that his nuclear ambitins are for power purposes only?Man, nothing obscures common sense like overzealous misplaced anger over a sitting president.

Seing how Achmadinijad threatened to wipe them off the map,Israel will most likely be the one to make the first move....God's speed Israel.

Optical illusion ! None of the stupid flowers are actually spinning.

Actually he never said that it was a miss quote, anyway who cares, Israel has 300 nukes, you think that Iran will threaten them. That goes beyond logic no matter how you stack it.

BTW he said the regime of Israel, have you got any idea how many Jews live in Iran. Look into it. Last week Israel told them all to leave, look into that also.

You really trust the UN and IAEA to monitor anything? Look at what they did in Iraq. The made half-assed inspections twice over a 10 year period, and thats only after the U.S. pushed them to do so.

We didn't shut the Sunnis out. The Iraqi people elected the government they wanted, and gave a proportional representation to Sunnis based on their overall percentage of the population. Thats how democracy works. Either way, its no excuse for Iran to fuel an insurgancy.

Personally, I'm not too concerned with the President of Iran's quotes. He's a nutjob for sure, but the power of Iran's government lies with the Ayatollah, and he is so far off the deep end that it makes their President look like a rabbi. If he gets it in his head to make the nation of Iran into one big martyr, then an hour later you will have mushroom clouds over the straights of hormuz, the Baghdad green zone, and Tel Aviv.

I don't know about "the best". Zogby did a poll on the illegal immigrants mess in Hazleton, Pa & Zogby "pushed the envelope". When the less than honest poll came out & was discovered to be less than "up front", Zogby apologized & offered to re-do the poll for free, the mayor of Hazleton said, "no thanks".
I have looked for a link to this story (I heard it on a news report) but haven't found it, I didn't look very hard though.
There was another "suspicious poll" that ZOgby did, & I believe it was in the 2000 election, it could've been 2004.
Somebody said that pollaters can make a poll come out anyway they want it to & I believe that.

I never said we didn't push Malaki, I simply said we didn't shut out the Sunnis, which we didnt. Malaki is not even essential to your thesis, so I don't see what you are arguing about. Shias make up a majority and would elect a Shia leader, regardless of what we did. Beside of all of this, my point still stands that none of this makes Iran's support for terrorist groups inside Iraq any more legitimate, which is what I was trying to say before you sidetracked this debte.

I agree and with that in mind then you will see a shift to wards an Iranian type nation.

That on it's surface means that the Sunnis will take a back seat. Do you think that they will be able to change their 3~4 thousand year heritage?

I can't believe that you honestly believe that "i-wanna-jihad arm-n-leg" never said that he wants to wipe Israel off the map. Who said he didn't say it? Him? There's many places on the net that his words about wiping Israel off the map can be found, & he said it on several different ocassions.
