I think the poll is a farce (apparently so does the article) but I don't think he should apologize. What difference will an apology make? It will be insincere and the statement has already gone on his permanent record.

He said what he meant, he meant what he said. Why apologize and force this man to lie? Dems in congress are all full of shit, they don"t do anything but talk.

Every Democrat should refuse to vote Dem until they actually do something about the war...the ONLY reason they took control in the first place.

They should be forced to give US OUR money back. At least GWB is doing what he promised Cons....Occupation, lies, occupation, FEAR...a true man of his word

If ALL the American people were honest with themselves, they would agree with Stark. I'm sure if Fox News did the poll, 99.9% would say that Stark should apologize.

I hope he doesn't ever apologize. Why apologize for speaking the truth? Does the truth hurt these NeoCon artists too much? It hit way too close to home for them, so they soon will have their propaganda pushers and "SwiftBoaters" out in full force to destroy Stark and anyone who agrees with him.

I've heard a few interviews with him in the past 10 hours; he said he won't apologize but could have said it a different way.

I'll bet he will apologize in the next few days, unfortunately, due to pressure from other politicians. Oh well, another round won by the Corporate Media.....

Why do you need a breakdown? It's a CNN poll; doesn't that tell you all you need to know? Of course it would slant to the Left. A Fox poll would slant to the Right.

Nothing to apologize for.

Dems don't have the numbers, couldn't override Schip, can't vote away the war, simple 2nd grade arithmetic. Its really funny, Bush is not responsible for starting the mess but the Dems are responsible for not stopping it.
