He told me that he knew his sources were at best misinformed, or, at worst, lying. In response to my asking him why he would write a story based on lies, and why he wants my comments he said "I need your comments because they give the story balance"...

Republicans have put thier faith in war and are letting it ride, hoping it will pay off like WWII, and not like Vietnam. Republicans have all been programmed by Fox to feel ashamed about the idea of the war ending before this undefined "success", Cut n Run etc.... I'm a student of history, and I've traveled in Europe and the Middle East, so I can see through that.....That's basic 1st grade propaganda. But if you live in a red state, never been out of the country, all you know of the war and the world comes from Fox on TV, I can see how you'd buy it. I'm not trying to say pro war people are bad or even gullible. Just in a different place, thats why the concept scares them.

Please, for crying out loud, define "fight" and "with all we have."

My 3 criteria:

1. Foreign policy that demonstrates the need to work cooperatively with nations in countering terriorist activity.
2. Manpower skilled in languages, culture, intelligence gathering and conterterror measures.
3. Intelligence and Police agencies that understand the problem and will work cooperatively to develop strategies to deal with it.

We've always had acts of terror and we more than likely always will.
